
Brief on the opening: Africa Media Development Foundation (AMDF) is currently accepting applications from individuals who share our vision & mission and would want to volunteer with us.
We also work with student interns to help them secure academic credit, depending on their academic requirements.
Primary Tasks:
*Assist in research, writing, editing and updating materials and news for AMDF website.
*Gathering and editing photos for use on our website.
*Assist in updating our social networking sites.
*Assist in conducting audience research.
*Assist in media monitoring, radio, tv, print and online.
*Researching media systems, policies and trends.
*Researching anti-press freedom and FOI trends in Africa.
*Conducting literature reviews and internet research for proposals and AMDF programme needs.
*Assist in the development of programme plans and budgets.
**Specific projects to be completed as part of the internship will be determined in conjunction with the accepted intern. Even though assignment will focus on a certain area, the intern may be asked to contribute outside of the area, depending on AMDF needs during the internship.
