According to Merriam Webster dictionary freedom of expression is “the right to express information, ideas, and opinions free of government restrictions based on content and subject only to reasonable limitations (as the power of the government to avoid a clear and present danger) ….”

In AMDF we believe that freedom of expression is a universal human right, which should be enjoyed by every person. It should not be interpreted as the prerogative of the politician, or a privilege of the journalists, even though in most cases, they provide the platform for the citizens to be heard.
