Anyone can register for this online course. Michigan State University, offers the course ‘Become a journalist:report the news’ through Coursera.

The five unit course is self paced and can be taken at anytime.  It has subtitles in English, Greek and Arabic.

Participants will learn best practices and ethical standards for newsgathering processes. Topics include journalism impact on societal issues,  trends and career opportunities, the journalistic portfolio and more.
