Open Society Foundations offer scholarships for workshop on human rights, drug policy [Worldwide]

Journalists, among others, with an interest in drug policy can apply for this all-expense-paid training in Hong Kong.

The Open Society Foundations are offering full scholarships for the Human Rights and Drug Policy Workshop Oct. 16 to 20 at the Center for Criminology at the University of Hong Kong.

The workshop aims to familiarize participants with the international drug control system, regional trends in drug markets (supply, transit and demand) and comparative case studies of alternative approaches to managing drug use in society as a health and social concern.

Scholarships cover travel, accommodation (shared double rooms) and meals.

The deadline is Aug. 1.
