Climate Tracker seeks writers [Worldwide]

Writers ages 18 to 30 can apply for a fellowship.

The Climate Tracker initiative has launched the “1.5ºC Survive and Thrive” campaign to support ambitious and consistent climate action in line with the 1.5 goal. As part of the campaign, communicators are asked to explain why this limit is necessary and why we will live in a better world if we do not surpass it, transitioning to a greener and more sustainable future.

Between April 10 and May 19, participants must write two articles about the proposed topics, then publish them in the media in their country or region.

The best writers will win an all-expenses-paid trip to attend the COP23 climate negotiations in November in Bonn, Germany. Winners will also receive semi-funded fellowship and several online fellowships to improve their writing skills.
